Generations of Farmhouse Craftsmanship

Salt and smoke were a cure,
not just a flavor.

Born from the legacy of Menno Yoder and his round barn in Northern Indiana. We smoke with patience, preserving the values of a time when food was respected because it asked something of you.

Shop the Legacy

The Smokehouse was a Necessity.

Long before Yoder & Co, the smokehouse wasn't a symbol - it was how our family survived. My great-grandfather raised prize Duroc hogs like N.F.'s Pride and Orion Cherry Nell, treating them with a quiet respect that defined life on the farm. Meat was smoked slowly because it had to be.

We carry the name of my great-great-grandfather, Menno Yoder, builder of the landmark Round Barn in Shipshewana. Just as he built to waste nothing and last generations, we craft our salts to preserve the old-world farmhouse flavors. We don't measure the process in minutes, but in the drifting of the smoke and the turning of the seasons.
